I found my stay at the Quintessa Hotel Sapporo to have its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, close to subway stations and convenience stores, making it easy to explore the area. However, some issues with cleanliness and the hotel's overall design left me a bit disappointed.

Rooms
5.0
The Deluxe Family Room I stayed in was spacious for five people, but the cleanliness was disappointing. I noticed a moldy drain smell and mildew on the showerhead (not ideal for a winter stay).
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly, but their English communication could be improved. There was a lack of attention to detail when it came to housekeeping and providing basic amenities (like bottled water).
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was definitely a highlight. It was just a short walk to Nakajimakoen station and right across from convenience stores, which made everything accessible (especially in snowy conditions).
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was decent but repetitive. I noticed the noodle options kept changing between stir-fried noodles and spaghetti, which got a bit boring over my four-night stay.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel offered great parking and laundry services, I was surprised by the lack of a cold refrigerator in my room (the ice cream melted!). The overall building felt a bit old and could use some updates.

I had a mixed stay at the Quintessa Hotel. While the room was spacious and the staff were friendly, I was let down by cleanliness issues. The location was decent, but communication could use work since the staff weren't very fluent in English.

Rooms

I booked a Deluxe Family Room, and it was quite big for five people. However, I noticed some cleanliness issues like mold in the shower, and it was a bit awkward using the toilet design.
Service
6.0
The staff were nice and quick to help when we had an issue with our initial room, upgrading us right away. However, communication was tricky because they didn't speak much English.
Location
7.0
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the nearest Nakajima Koen station, which was manageable. There’s a convenience store just across the street, making it super convenient.
Dining

Breakfast was a bit repetitive, with the same options mostly, but I appreciated the quick start to my day.
Facilities

The amenities could use improvement, especially in terms of cleanliness and the lack of heating in the bathroom during winter.

I had a mixed experience at Quintessa Hotel Sapporo. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was fantastic and the room was spacious and comfortable. However, the centrally controlled air conditioning made my stay quite uncomfortable, especially during the coldest time of year. Overall, I would rate my experience as average due to these issues.

Rooms
6.0
The Deluxe Twin Room I stayed in was large and spacious, offering comfortable bedding and a nice modern bathroom. However, the air conditioning was centrally controlled, leaving me feeling quite hot and muggy during my stay.
Service
5.0
The staff was polite but lacked English proficiency, making communication a bit challenging. They offered a portable fan to manage the heat, but it didn’t help much. Also, a lack of communication about my extended stay left me feeling frustrated.
Location
6.0
The location was decent, about 8 minutes from the Nakajima Koen subway station, and conveniently near a few convenience stores. However, I expected to be closer to the city center.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast buffet featured a delicious selection of Japanese-style food, which I really enjoyed. However, it might not cater to those looking for a wider variety of international options.
Facilities
5.0
There were vending machines on every floor, which was convenient. However, the lack of flexibility in room temperature control was a major drawback.

My stay at Quintessa Hotel Sapporo had its ups and downs. The room size was ideal for a family of three. and the location was conveniently close to the shopping district. However, I faced issues with the limited parking and cleanliness in my room.

Rooms

The Superior Twin Room was spacious for three persons. but I found hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor.
Service

The service overall was adequate, though the parking situation was quite frustrating during my stay. I had to search for off-site parking and wasn't guaranteed a spot.
Location
8.0
The hotel is well-placed near a vibrant shopping area. it took me just about 10 minutes to walk to the metro station.
Dining
7.0
While I didn't try much, there are options for light snacks nearby. perfect for a quick bite after exploring the city.
Facilities

The hotel offers basic facilities, but the laundry room was crowded. additional washing machines would be a great help.

My stay at the Quintessa Hotel Sapporo was mostly good, with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms that felt welcoming. However, I found the inability to adjust the air conditioning a bit uncomfortable for sleeping. Overall, the hotel has a great location and attentive service, making it a solid choice for a visit to Sapporo.

The Hollywood Twin Room was spacious and wonderfully decorated, but I couldn't adjust the air conditioning, which made it slightly uncomfortable to sleep.
Service
8.0
The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to help me secure a taxi for an early morning departure.
Location
8.0
Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the station and close to convenience stores like Lawson and Seicomart. Also, the Nakajima-koen subway station is nearby, making exploration easy.
Dining
7.0
I didn't specifically dine at the hotel, but the location offers access to various dining options nearby, including fresh meat at local markets.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers necessary facilities like dry cleaning and laundry. However, I would have expected more comprehensive room cleaning services for stays of less than four nights.
